The prodgidal daughter
I have been busy doing so much other stuff that I have neglected this blog. We are in the process of downsizing drastically to move into an RV at the NC coast. We are going from 1356 sf to around 300. We are finding the prospect a challenge and a delight. It will help us realize the dream of being at the coast and close to the beach and great fishing. We are finally at the stage where we can let go of some stuff. My husband is retiring and that will mean much less money. It only makes financial sense to move with the rising cost of gas.I am leaving the kids to take over the house payment with the promise that if they pay it off they will have it. I will miss some of the things here but the opportunity to live large in a small space is exciting too. We will be down there in a couple weeks. I wanted to get my raised bed garden in this year and I am not sure it will happen in time. I am not allowed to till up the existing soil so raised beds and pots it is.I will be glad when the transition is over. Diana

Wow! How exciting. Do you mind if I ask you how much the space rent will be? We've looked into mobile home parks but they want almost $500 for just the space not to mention electricity and other utilities. I hope you continue to blog about your journey. I'm fascinated! Oh, and I'm also following....! :-)
